Rainwater-capturing objects are dispersed in a field condition throughout the dry lakebed surrounding the edges of Lake Urmia, Iran. The objects collect rainwater over time that would have otherwise evaporated from the flat and dry barren lands. After a period of time, the collected rainwater is converted into a rainwater structure and released, creating artificial ponds for plants and wildlife, akin to vernal (seasonal) ponds.
